Airdrop Integrations

  • We've added a new mapping option to Jira Airdrop that allows you to map Jira Epics to DevRev Enhancements. This provides improved planning capabilities within DevRev.

    Key Benefits:

    • Organize work items logically across multiple enhancements instead of a single part.

    • Enable planning at a more granular level within DevRev.

    • Create a proper part hierarchy that matches your Jira Epic structure.

    How It Works:

    • When configuring your Jira sync, you now have the option to map the Jira Epic type to the DevRev Enhancement (part) type.

    • This mapping option exists alongside the current ability to map Jira issues to DevRev issues or tickets.

Refer to the docs for a list of known limitations.

  • Jira Airdrop now supports mapping Jira issues to DevRev incidents.\

    What's New

    • Incident Mapping: Jira issues (bugs, tasks, stories, etc.) can now be mapped to the incident type in DevRev.

    • This is in addition to existing mappings for DevRev issues, tickets, and enhancements.

    Supported Mappings

    • Bugs, Tasks, Stories (and similar items): Map to Issues,Tickets, or Incidents

    • Epics: Map to Issues, Tickets, Incidents, or Enhancements

    Usage

During Jira Airdrop configuration, you can now select incident as a mapping type for Jira work items in the field mapping interface.

This new mapping provides more flexibility in how your team organizes work items migrated from Jira.
